Customise the widget
Add options to the end of the widget address to set the starting values. Visitors can still change every field.
| Option | What it sets | Example |
|---|---|---|
| cur | Currency | cur=AED |
| tax | GST or VAT rate (%) | tax=5 |
| wht | Withholding rate (%) | wht=10 |
| disc | Discount (%) | disc=0 |
| base | WHT base: taxable, total or tax | base=total |
| mode | bill or target | mode=target |
Why add it to your site?
Accountants, freelancing bloggers and small business sites often get the same question: how much will I actually receive after tax and withholding? The widget answers it on your own page, so visitors stay longer and get a clear, visual answer.
Please keep the link
The snippet includes a small text link to the full calculator. Keeping it helps other people find the tool, and it is how we pay for keeping the widget free.
Frequently asked questions
Is the widget free?
Yes. It is free to use on any website. Please keep the link under the widget so visitors can find the full tool.
Can I change the currency and tax rate?
Yes. Add cur, tax, wht, disc and base to the widget address. For example cur=AED and tax=5 for UAE VAT.
Does the widget collect my visitors data?
No. The calculator runs in the visitor browser and does not send the numbers anywhere.
How tall should the iframe be?
A height of about 680 pixels fits the whole calculator on desktop. On narrow phones you may want a little more.
Rates and rules change and depend on your situation, so confirm the right treatment with your accountant or tax authority. This is a calculator, not tax advice.
